Interested in learning more about Cantare Children’s Choir? You and your child are invited to reserve your spot at BRING A FRIEND NIGHTS. Bring a Friend Nights take place throughout our season and are a great opportunity to experience our program and discover the incredible power of making music.

Bring a Friend Nights offer an opportunity to see our award-winning music education up close. (SIGN UP LINK BELOW)

After Bring a Friend Night, your child can register for Songsters classes to begin working on their basic skills to prepare them for placement in a performing ensemble in the following season.

What to Expect & FAQs

Bring-A-Friend Nights are specially planned “Tester” experiences which give you and your child exposure to a variety of the activities, games, and lessons we experience during weekly rehearsals! We encourage parents to sit-in at rehearsal and see our teaching method for yourself!

You’ll see some activities like:

  • Singing Games

  • Partner Games

  • Simple Repeat-After-Us Singing (With your Buddy!)

  • Simple Sight-Singing (With your Buddy!)

  • Rhythm Games

  • Scale Exercises

  • Bring-A-Friend Nights are open to all, regardless of whether you are already friends with someone in the choir! Simply select “My child does not have a chorister buddy” in the form above, and we will make sure your child has a chorister buddy paired up with them when they arrive!

  • Bring-A-Friend Nights are FREE events! Children of all ages are are encouraged to attend their age-appropriate ensemble’s Bring-A-Friend Night!

  • Songsters Classes are open for registration year-round! These starter classes develop basic skills and get your child ready for placement in an ensemble the following summer

    Our Get In The Groove Workshop signals the beginning of every new performance season in August. Attendance at Get In The Groove is required to move into a new performing ensemble for that year.
