SONGSTERS

Looking to join Cantare Children’s Choir next season? Songsters is the perfect place to get a head start on building your skills! Choristers who participate in Songsters will have priority in the placement process for our ensembles for the 2024-2025 season.
Our 60-minute classes instill a love of singing and focus on foundational skill development including the development of vocal production, breathing, musicianship, and literacy [reading and understanding written music]. Choristers will sing a wide spectrum of choral works, folk songs, and singing games.
Choristers will receive a brief theory assignment to be completed at home. Theory assignments provide bite-sized practice opportunities in between lessons to help music-making feel effortless!
Songsters LITE (5 Weeks; 5 Classes): April-May 2024
Summer Songsters BOOT CAMP(1 week; 5 Classes): July 2024
Placement interviews: April - August 2024

Tuition Fee* $110 ($100 + $5 GST + $5 Processing Fee)
*Tuition fees are assessed by Cantare Music Services and provide for instruction.
