Join Cantare Children’s Choir!
(Mid-Season)
Intake of new choristers and placement into performing ensembles generally occurs May-August with new choristers beginning their time in a performing ensemble at our GET IN THE GROOVE Workshop Week in late August. This two intensive week-long training camps (Cantare week 1; Cantilena and Cantiga week 2) gets all of our ensembles seasons started on the right foot and prepares much of the repertoire for the coming season.
During our performance season (September-June) when our choristers are in the swing of their year, it can be challenging for a child to join the program and catch up mid-season. In order to facilitate a smoother transition into a performing ensemble, students who wish to join Cantare Children’s Choir mid-season can register for our Songsters preparatory classes to begin building skills and getting to know our team! Choristers who participate in preparatory classes will have priority in the placement process for our ensembles for the 2025-2026 season.
