A DELIGHTFUL December!
It’s the most wonderful time or the year at Cantare Children’s Choir!
It was a BUSY December as always for our choristers as they prepared and delivered on so many exciting events across the holiday season! Cantare was thrilled to be featured as the guest artist for the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra's “Traditional Christmas” series. The choristers wowed three SOLD OUT shows with the CPO under the direction of resident conductor Juliane Gallant.
And then there was “A Winter’s Night”
What a spectacular night of music! Cantare, Cantiga, and Cantilena were THRILLED to present their December concert! Each ensemble delivered a skilled program that got our audience in the festive spirit! Cantare especially wowed with their two settings of the medieval “Lo How A Rose” texts, as well as favourites from our Traditional Christmas experience with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra! We are so proud of all three ensembles for their work and focus this term.
