It’s another exciting January where our ensembles get to go out to Camp Chestermere for WINTER RETREAT!!
After a WINDY first day moving into their bunks, Cantiga got to work on some new music! With a weekend filled with special space moments, the theme for Cantiga’s weekend is OUTER SPACE!! Huge thanks to our chaperones for bringing out the telescopes, with a clear night sky, we could all see Mars, Venus, and Jupiter with just our eyes!!! Here’s hoping we can add Saturn to the mix tomorrow!

Our outer space theme continued into a busy Saturday! Cantilena determined who had the strongest gravity during a mighty Tug O’ War while Cantiga got to make some rockets of their own and learn about the chemical reactions that help us leave earth’s orbit!
Did somebody say GLOW-STICK DANCE PARTY?!?
Saturday night was BOPPIN’ as Cantiga celebrated a BIG weekend!! We’ve never seen so many glowsticks in one place! huge thanks to our parent chaperones for decorating the gym for this fun night!
